The localization rate of the project has reached more than 95%, which has compressed the regular one-year construction period into more than one month, and is 18 days ahead of the completion time issued by the headquarters, which has surpassed the acceleration of manufacturing in China.

 

Meltblown cloth is the "heart" of masks, used as the filter layer in the middle of medical masks, and has good filterability, barrier properties, heat preservation and adsorption. The outbreak of the epidemic makes it difficult to find a "cover". In order to ensure the price stability of melt blown cloth and the supply of mask products, as a large domestic supplier of medical and health raw materials, Sinopec is anxious to the country, thinking about what the people think, actively responding to the call of the central and national governments, and quickly decided to build 16 melt blown cloth There are 4 production lines for Yanshan Petrochemical and 12 for Yizheng Chemical Fiber. The first phase of Yanshan Petrochemical's two melt blown cloth production lines are required to be put into operation on March 8, and the first phase of Yizheng Chemical Fiber's melt blown cloth production line will be completed and put into operation in mid-April.

 

The melt blown cloth project of Yizheng Chemical Fiber was jointly constructed by Sinopec and SINOMACH Hengtian. It involved 22 types of equipment. Except for the urgently purchased 1 imported fan, the melt blown head of the core equipment to ordinary bolts and accessories were all domestic emergency. Manufacturing, the localization rate is over 95%. Yizheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. faces difficulties, breaks conventions, and organizes well. It designs, purchases, manufactures, constructs, and prepares for production. All work is carried out day and night in an orderly manner, shortening the conventional one-year construction period to 35 days , Ran out of the acceleration made in China. The participating unit Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company organized and carried out the "For masks, we fight" labor competition, 400 people joined the battle, 24 hours a day, the pass rate of pipe welding reached 98.7%.

 

At present, the epidemic is spreading globally, and the shortage of masks in some countries and regions is still prominent. At the end of May, after all 16 melt blown cloth production lines of Sinopec are put into operation, together with the 5 tons/day capacity of the holding company, the annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of melt blown cloth will be formed, which can be used to process more than 10 billion disposable medical masks each year. By then, Sinopec is expected to become the largest melt blown cloth manufacturer in China and even the world, and make greater contributions to building a "human health and health community".
